The Quest to be Interesting

We either amuse ourselves or rely on other things to amuse us. This is a matter of autonomy. The majority of people lack the will to be autonomous, which is not the same thing as being alone or entirely self-sufficient.

Who or what is responsible for each of us? Others? No. I believe we are responsible for ourselves to the degree that we can control our actions, and responsible for our reactions to that which we cannot control. It is in this light that I developed the Xaxerean "Principle" Pattern.

The pattern is simple, but not easy. Those who choose to practice it pick a pursuit for each day of the week. These pursuits are things that the user wishes to master, with a focus on the specific outcomes of pleasure, victory, health, wealth, power, skill, and wisdom. It is deceptively simple, but is the end result of many years of investigation into ancient and modern psychological and spiritual systems. Profit from it!

This pattern will mean something different to each person, which is the idea. Most organizations insist that their practitioners engage in the same behaviors. This simplifies the process of control over the subservient population, but is not the path for those who seek freedom in spiritual or material development.
